Grab A Seat & Get Cozy: You’re in the right place

Whether you’re reading this while sipping your morning coffee, taking a quick break during the day, or winding down before bed—welcome. I’m really glad you’re here!

I created The Maternal Motion to be a go-to space for pregnant people who have questions, concerns, or just want clear, trustworthy information during pregnancy. There’s so much advice out there, and it can feel overwhelming—especially when it comes to movement, strength, and what’s “safe.” My hope is that this space helps you feel supported, confident, and a little less unsure as your body changes.

As a chiropractor, one of the things I love most about my work is the community of integrated practitioners I get to collaborate with. Being able to learn from one another, talk through patient cases, share research, and exchange ideas has shaped the way I care for my patients. Between that, my clinical experience, continuing education, and ongoing research, I’ve seen how powerful it is when people feel informed rather than fearful.

That’s where this blog comes in, my little passion project I’m so excited to finally share with you. The Morning Pour ☕️ is meant to feel like your first cup of the day— with a sprinkle of evidence-based and research-driven, but easy to understand and not overwhelming. Here, I’ll be answering common questions, breaking down myths, and easing concerns within the prenatal fitness world, especially around strength, mobility, and movement during pregnancy. Whether you’ve been moving your body for years or you’re just getting started during pregnancy, this space is for you!

From time to time, I’ll also share some of my favorite products, supplements, and simple health-related tips that I often recommend to my pregnant patients in the office. Everything here is shared with one goal in mind: helping you feel capable, confident, and supported as you do something pretty amazing—growing a life. 💛
